A visitor's guide to Saundersfoot
Beach, harbour, boats, coast path — Saundersfoot packs a lot into a small village. Here's how to get the best out of a day here, from a pub that watches it all happen.
Saundersfoot beach
A wide, sandy Blue-Flag-standard beach right beside the harbour — brilliant for families, and at low tide you can walk the sands towards Wisemans Bridge. Note the seasonal dog restrictions in summer.
The harbour
The working heart of the village: boats, crabbing off the wall, seasonal boat trips and events through the year. The Captains Table sits directly on the harbour front.
Parking
The main car parks sit beside the harbour and off the seafront — a couple of minutes' walk from us. Arrive early on sunny summer days; the village fills fast.
With the family
Beach, crabbing, ice cream, rockpools at the edges of the bay — then a kids menu and space for buggies at our place when energy runs out.
With the dog

The coast path
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs straight through the village. Tenby is a spectacular walk one way; Wisemans Bridge and Amroth the other, through the old coal tramway tunnels.
Rainy days
Pembrokeshire weather has opinions. Folly Farm's indoor jungle barn, Tenby's galleries and museums, or a long lunch watching the rain hit the harbour — all solid options. See things to do nearby.
