On foot
We sit directly on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which makes us either the start line or the finish line. These are the walks worth your boots.
Approx. 1 mile each way · easy · mostly level
The classic. Follow the old coal tramway from the harbour through the cliff tunnels to Wisemans Bridge — a flat, dramatic walk the whole family can do. At low tide you can return along the beach.
Approx. 2.5 miles each way · easy-moderate
Carry on past Wisemans Bridge along the old dramway line to Amroth. Coastal woodland, sea views and a proper sense of the coal history that built the harbour.
Approx. 4 miles · moderate · some climbs
Southwards over Monkstone Point with big views across Carmarthen Bay, dropping into Tenby's North Beach. Bus back, or walk it in reverse and finish with Sunday lunch at ours.
Under 1 mile · easy · pushchair-friendly at low tide
Around the harbour wall, along the sand, ice cream stop, crabbing stop, done. Short legs and short attention spans both catered for.

The tunnels walk and the coast path are dog-friendly year-round; the beach has seasonal restrictions in summer — check current rules. Then it's back to the dog-friendly pub for a sit-down.
